Tonight TH and I had some of his family members over for dinner.
It had been just WAY TOO LONG since we’d had them over. It’s nice having company over b/c it almost forces us to keep the house in some kind of order.
Last night we were going to work on cleaning up the house, but I suffered from insane non-stop sneezing fits and down some Benadryl. I passed out 10 minutes later. So much for cleaning!
This morning I had a lot of running around to do and woke up late b/c of the damned benadryl. We got a late start, but we managed to straighten up the house enough for company and make a nice dinner.
On the menu we had chicken cutlets, spaghetti with TH’s home made sauce, and Eggplant Rollatini that his Nana brought over. We had a spinach salad with strawberry’s and a yummy homemade vinaigrette.
For dessert we had triple chocolate cake and some strawberry baby cake, also some strawberries and blueberries with whipped cream, and some chocolate chip cookies. Yum.
The dogs behaved themselves and were a hit with our 2 year old niece.
I completely forgot to take pictures, what was I thinking?! Oh well, I got in a shot of my semi cleaned den table – and my makeshift working place where I’m typing this entry now.
