TH and I saw a double rainbow (click to see larger, I swear it’s there)
We also saw one of these:
We were on our way to New Hampshire where we stayed at the gorgeous Sugar Hill Inn
Then we went to the Flume Gorge where we saw a lot of these:
We did some walking — and stopped to take some pics of ourselves in front of a big rock.
And then, somewhere over here…
…
I remember that weekend so well.
I remember how we sat down on a stone bench on the wooden planks and he waited until all the visitors/tourists (like us) were out of sight.
Then he walked me down the planks…
and I jumped. (I kid)
Then he got down on one knee.
I could tell he was nervous.
He pulled out a ring from his back pocket…
it was not in a case.
Remember, he is nervous… and the planks have big gaps in them, and we are standing over rushing waterfalls…
and oh my god please don’t drop the ring. Omg Omg O — M — G!!!!!!!
And then we were engaged.
Haha, I remember him asking, I remember saying YES … but what I remember most was the feeling of anxiety over the safety of THAT RING!!
HAHAHAHA! I love it.
Did I know he was going to propose? …
Yes, we had talked about marriage.
Did I know when and where?
No.
We walked up all these crazy steps and at the top of the rocks people said ‘congratulations’ b/c they were watching from above. *awwww*
And that was it — we didn’t call anyone to tell them we were engaged (though I’m sure ppl knew it was coming).
I just didn’t want to ruin the moment calling people,
when I could just spend it with him.

Yes, the photo contest is anything goes!
Thanks for the compliment on my vector.
Aww, that is so sweet! I would have been so afraid that the ring was going to fall. Thankfully, it didn’t!
Ha, I love the moose picture. I’ve never seen one in real life.
