I will admit, her songs are usually catchy, but her whole image was blown for me when I heard her live. Her real voice is terrible. It’s a shame, because I really did like her before. D:
And what does the video have to do with California? I imaged girls rollerskating near a beach with bikini tops and daisy dukes when I first heard the song.

Haha… the video definitely did NOT encompass my view of California girls either. I picture the same thing — girls in bikini tops and daisy dukes with rollerblades on going down the boardwalk wearing headphones.
I never really liked her before, and I don’t much like her now — don’t really know much about her, but I do love this song, minus the video
