I can’t wait!

TH and I are taking a little trip soon…and we are heading out to CO to visit this sexy biatch:

meagain For those of you who have never seen this gorgeous creature – her name is Cher and she writes over at Just Me and the Birds.

I love this girl – we’ve known each other for, oh I dunno … 6 years or so. I really have to figure out how long exactly.

I’ve told the story time and time again on many a blog…but not on here. Long story (well, not really) short, we met online via the blogosphere. We realized we had mucho in common. Like being both of us being 1/2 Japanese and having some similar interests. Through the years we experienced a lot of life together via the interwebs.

I live in New Jersey and she lives in Colorado  – so 2 years ago, we finally met in person — in Texas. She, as you’ll see from her blog – if you don’t already know – is a very active person. She was roller blading at the time and got me and TH REALLY into it, like within 2 months. During that 2 months we trained and eventually did a marathon in Texas. It was a very impulsive decision, but aren’t those the best anyway?? Meeting her for the first time didn’t really feel like – the first time. I felt as if I’d known her forever. As if I saw her the day before and was just hanging with her the next, or something.

This year she accompanied her hubby on a business trip to NYC, my neck of the woods, so to speak. We got to spend some of the day together and did some eating, shopping and more eating. :) We even took a ride on a hot ass elevator – it was the longest most pointless ride to nowhere, but we had some laughs.

Now TH and I will be heading to CO to site-see and meetup with her and her hubby! It’s so great to know some people in a state that we’ve never visited. She is a huge help in getting us situated with some sort of agenda.

Anywho – I just can’t wait – :-)

OOhh, have fun on your trip! I’ve never been out there before, but I’ve heard such lovely things. And, it’s always nice to catch-up with old friends.
