Phiten is making me mental…

I have been looking for something natural to help keep me healthy, positive and free of pain (in general). I know not many people around me are believers in holistic practices, but I am. If I can avoid taking medications such as Tylenol (which is toxic to the liver), then I will try anything.

I researched online about Trion:Z – it is ionic / magnetic – it is supposed to help with the flow of energy. I searched for local stores that sell it and every one I went in to said they were sold out. (It must be a good product, eh?)

One of the stores I tried carried another product called Phiten.

Phiten is a Japanese company/product that sells necklaces/bracelets/tape and other ‘stuff’ that is infused with Titanium. Titanium is said to have some healing benefits, one being pain relief. Like the Trion:Z it helps with the flow of energy in the body.

I bought the Phiten Star necklace and thought…what the heck.

As soon as I put it on, I had pain in my neck… a dull annoying ache. I figured it might be coincidental, but just in case – I took it off and wrapped it around my wrist instead. Then, the pain in my neck went away and my wrist started to ache. What the heck?? I thought this thing was supposed to help relieve pain, not CAUSE pain.

By the end of the day, I had it back on my neck. I thought I would give it a day to work it’s issues out.
The next day, I had no pain. I switched the location of the necklace to my wrist and no pain anywhere. Good deal…

I didn’t have any injuries that needed healing and no pain that needed to be relieved, so I really was not able to test out how well Phiten would work in those situations.

That day, I was headed to Colorado. Everything was going my way. Luck was on my side. Early flight departures, early arrivals, was upgraded to first class, and had a car upgrade. When does stuff like this EVER happen to me… never. One thing after another – just like that. I liked to think it was the “Power of the Phiten!” haha

Due to the altitude difference between NJ and CO, I suffered some headaches on arrival. To which I thought if I put my Phiten Necklace on my head, maybe the pain will go away. Imagine that. So, I took it off my neck and placed it on my head, like a Halo – and literally, within seconds, my headache was completely gone. I am NOT kidding. I was a bit in disbelief.

Throughout the day I continued to get headaches b/c TH and I decided we wanted to drive up 13000 feet to some mountain top – oh yeah. Everytime I put the Phiten on my head, I would get relief from the pain. I am not going to say I was completely painfree each time, but there was definitely some pain relief that was noticeable. Sometimes the pain would go away to the point where I can barely tell I had a headache, but I knew it was still there.

Surprisingly with the Altitude issues and thinness of the air – I had no problems with my chronic asthma.

The rest of the long weekend that we spent in CO went without a hitch…until the day we left. At which point, I left my Phiten necklace in the hotel … My flight departed and arrived late, making us miss our connection. We then got double booked on some flights, wound up making our connecting flight – but when we arrived at our final destination our luggage didn’t arrive with us. The baggage-people could not tell us where our luggage was – it was MIA. Great. I need my Phiten.

Phiten is not supposed to bring ‘”Good Luck” to people, but for me, it was just sooo coincidental that I don’t care if it wasn’t the Phiten, b/c I don’t want to risk the odd and yes, very weird chance that it WAS.

The next day I went back to the sporting goods store and bought a new necklace, this time I bought an X30 Tribel (30x’s the concentration of Titanium than the Star), which was misplaced and therefore I got it for the same price as the star necklace I originally bought (YAY, I saved $10 … it’s working already!)

That night, I had band practice, and to my surprise, I was offered a position on the board of the organization. What?? Me?? – why? Is it because my Phiten makes me look so darn sexy?

meandmyphiten TH is a very practical person. He finds an explanation for everything. But after the events that occured after I bought this thing, he is unsure what to think. He thinks it is probably just some sort of completely weird coincidence…but he’s not sure. He gets a little flabbergasted when he tries to explain the ‘why’ or ‘how’ of it all… I think it’s funny.

It may all just be in my head – who knows. But if that’s what it takes for me to have a positive outlook on things and make my pains go away – I’ll take it. :-)
