That is Hello, Hello, Hi!
Did you know that in Switzerland there are 4 main languages – German, Italian, French and Rumantsch (which I’ve never heard of until now)
TH was offered an opportunity to work in Switzerland (Zurich) for about 3 months. His original thought was no, b/c of me. We are still newlyweds, yanno.
It was mentioned that I would be able to go with him. YAY!!!
But the more I thought about it, I realized what that meant.
I’d have to leave my job. I’m a consultant so I cannot just take a leave of absence.
I would not be able to see my pups — OMG I would miss them so much.
I would not be able to see my family whenever I wanted to — Waaaaaah.
This all makes me sad.
But then there are the positive sides of it.
I’d get a chance to see a new country with TH, who loves to explore.
It’s not every day an opportunity like this comes around, and it IS Switzerland …
Did you know that Switzerland is only about twice the size of New Jersey, where we currently live?
France, Italy, Germany — all border Switzerland. Uh, HELLOOOOOO. Talk about killing 4 birds with one stone.// actually let’s not talk about killing birds.
Bad wifey, bad.
We are planning to have the house on the market by the end of this month and an empty house would be perfect for showing!
There is so much to do, but so much still to find out — we don’t have many details, but what I know so far is that we’d be leaving at the end of this month or early September.
We’d have to find new homes for our pups while we are gone. I know my mom will be able to take 1 of them, but she has 3 dogs of her own… and 1 of which is 70+ lbs and tries to ‘mount’ my 9lb pup. So I can’t leave the little one there. I wonder if we’ll be allowed to bring her, I hear Switzerland is extremely dog friendly (transportation-wise, restaurants, etc…)

That’s so exciting! I would love to go to Switzerland.
It’s tough that you’d have to leave so much behind, though. It would be easier if it wasn’t for your job and your house. D: If it doesn’t work out, you could always consider taking a vacation there some day.
