Good Times

This past weekend was full of fun!

My friend Jen and I headed up to Connecticut (Foxwoods) which is about a 4 hour drive from where we live. We made it up there around 4pm on Saturday for a 6:30pm start time for High-Stakes Bingo! Right On!

We paid $40 for admission. The games lasted until 11:30pm. There were about 40 different bingo games that happened within that time, with an average win of $3000 each game. Some had jackpots ranging from $11,500 to $38,500 and even a car. Everyone had the same chances…it was sweet.

I didn’t win, but Jen did – it was on one of the quickie bingos, and the pot was $300… unfortunately though, she had to split the winnings with 9 other ppl that happened to win that round. But $30 is better than nothing right!

When arriving they give you a ‘mystery envelope’. Everyone’s is different. I got a $3 food voucher (drinks are free there), $10 free to play on the slot machines and a free Keno game. I won $2 on Keno and $70 on the slots — total winnings of $72 lol.

Though the profits weren’t high for that night, the fun times were, and I had a blast. The only snaffu we encountered was booking a local hotel b/c there was no way we’d be able to drive the 4 hours home that night. A little miscommunication between me and TH, and our hotel was 1.5hours south of the casino. We checked in around 2:30am.

The next morning we checked out at 12pm, got home by 4pm then had to head up to meet my sister and dad for his birthday dinner at Cinders by 5pm. Food, atmosphere and the company we shared were awesome.

We made it home by 8:20pm just in time to watch the Giants/Colts game in which the Giants sucked royally.

Not much more to say, wasn’t allowed to use my camera in Bingo and forgot to bring it in for our dinner soooo a photo free post. JOY!
