“I’ll be back…”

This is my first week off from work.

I had thought I would be totally productive, but instead I’ve spent about 20 hrs in front of the tv watching Season 1 and Season 2 of Terminator : The Sarah Conner Chronicles on Netflix Instant Play. I didn’t think I’d become so absorbed in it, b/c I’ve only seen 1 of the Terminator movies and it was justĀ  okay.

I had to get out of the house b/c I’ve created such a huge dent in my couch cushion it’s not even funny. It’s sad. Really.

Sooo I investigated a few of the local gyms around here. I had belonged to a small one about 2 miles from where I live, but it takes me 15-20 minutes to get to it, b/c it’s on the way to Princeton and it’s a 1 lane each direction kinda road with lots of traffic lights. I found a new one. It’s an all women’s gym. The price is the same monthly, and it’s about 10-15minutes from where I live and about 6 miles away. Perfect. The gym is freakin’ huge.

There are literally 100 cardio machines on one level (bikes, elliptical, treadmills, stair steppers, hiking simulators)

The second floor is full of weights, more weights than I could imagine.
Not that I will use any but the 5lb ones…maybe someday.

It also has a huge floor where they hold the classes and ab/leg/arm/back machines and they also have an inline skate machine!! WHAT?! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!

So I joined. Just for the inline machine. That I haven’t even tried yet.

I did the treadmill for 25minutes at 3.5 with an incline of 6-7.

It was hell.

I am so out of shape.

Now that I’ve completed my 20hrs of tv… I can invest more time into the gym. The one where they have individual tv’s in each of the treadmills.

Muuuhahahaha!

The elliptical trainers with TVs at my gym are practically the only reason I can drag myself to exercise after work. I like watching cooking and house hunting shows.
