sanity subsides

TH and I have been sick for the past 2 weeks. It all started with a drip, what sorta felt like it could’ve been from allergies. This was back when the maids came by and cleaned. Thought it was just a reaction to the dusting…maybe?

It got worse and worse.. had a fever, earache and major sinus pressure…I slept the days away. I tried my best not to take any meds and just sleep it off. Well, here I am 12 days later and still getting over this damn head cold. The sinus pressure eventually subsided, leading to a sore throat and gross mucous stuff.

Then, TH got it… and his brother, his father and his mother.

Anyway, on top of this head cold, we have been prepping the house for some pics that will be taken tomorrow for our realtor. So she can put them in a brochure.

Can I just say, I never imagined the process to be this hard. Just to get the house in perfect condition. It will never be perfect. But … it’s the best we can get it now. And I know after the pics are taken I’m going to look them over and be so upset and see something slightly out of place and lose my mind.

It’s late. well, early actually – 1:03am here. Still up, still working on the house. I hope to be done by 10 am. When the realtor gets here. LOL. TH is sleeping and planning on waking up at 7am to finish. But I’m a little bit of a control freak so I’m hoping it all gets done by me, within the next few hours.

Keep your fingers crossed, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll post pics of our lovely house. For sale. Wanna buy it?

you know, i’m hoping that because it took this long to get to get the house, just perfect, that this realtor really knows what she’s doing. hopefully she is trying to sell as quickly as she can, and get you the best amount and all this prep work is going towards that goal.

it’s a pain, i know….are you ready to keep your house spic and span for showings? seriously, that would be the main reason we’d never sell our house. :)

i love our realtor… she just got back from some reunion and she says I look exactly like her cousin from Maui. It’s too weird. Gotta love the Japanese :)
She is trying to sell fast. Luckily, we will be the ONLY unit with the model we have. YAY. We have some decent comps too and will be pricing it to sell higher than we anticipated.
It is a pain..and I don’t know HOW we are going to keep the house in good order. I mean, not even looking like it’s lived in. It’s crazy. Our basement and closets are a disaster, b/c that’s where we put everything. Thinking about getting one of those P.O.D.S. :)
