TH and I went out with our realtor today and checked out 9 more homes. I brought the check book because I just KNEW we’d be putting an offer in on something, and if we didn’t, we wouldn’t find a new home for awhile. B/c really, we’ve looked at EVERYTHING. (abt 30 homes)
Well, 1 of the 9 really caught our attention — and we put a bid in on it!
There is another house in the same neighborhood with the exact same interior layout, only difference is the OTHER house has an inground heated pool and the asking price is 20k less than the one we bid on. We like this house better b/c there is no pool (no maint) and it has a partially finished basement and has been taken care of a little bit better… slightly. So we’re hoping that they will be competitive with the other comp for 20k less… We shall see!!!
It’s a colonial / on 1+ acres of flat property. It has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bath and a full partially finished basement. Best of all, it’s a house we both agree on!!!
Keep your fingers crossed for us, that our negotiation goes well!!!
