Today at work, the alarm company came by to do some ‘maintenance’.
While they were at it, for about 6 hours, there was this loud annoying beeeeep that wouldn’t STFU!
Here’s some video of me … after about 4 hours of beeps. Please excuse the crazy look and my whispering. There were other employees nearby and I didn’t want to give them more proof that I’ve completely lost it.
It was sooo hard for me to keep my mouth shut and NOT complain about this. I feel bad for the people who were right across from the alarm room.
This video really doesn’t do it much justice, since you can actually hear me whispering over the beeping. It was hard to make sense of what anyone was saying nearby, let alone focus on getting work done!
Alas, the alarm-dude is gone… and I have 1 hour left at work … but the beep sure left it’s mark. B/C I am now haunted by temporary tinnitus.
Ugh -perfect excuse to develop a sudden migraine and high-tail it outta there!!
