I’m pregnant, with twins.

I’m about 12 weeks right now, and maybe for some it’s a little too early to announce our news to the world. I know most people like to wait until they officially reach the 2nd trimester. Not I.

This pregnancy has had it’s ups and downs. More downs than ups, unfortunately… but the biggest upside is that it’s viable right now and the babes are healthy.

We started out with triplets in there, and 1 did not develop. I cannot even FATHOM having triplets or even incubating them. OMFG.NO.WAY.

It was a relief that the 3rd never developed fully as it didn’t have any heartbeat, nerves, etc. I know it would’ve been harder for us to experience it as a loss had it developed further.

My younger sis and best-friend is due on September 18th with her first baby. My official Due Date is October 19th. My doctors will not allow me to deliver PAST October 5th (38weeks) and I was told that 60% of twins arrive at 35 weeks. Which would make me due anywhere between September 14th and October 5th. Very close to my sister.

It will be a very busy month for our family — welcoming 3 little ones at the same time

I am most excited that my niece will finally have cousins! She is 7 1/2 right now and has been ever so patient!

I realize that this topic is not of interest for those who aren’t really experiencing similar situations or those who are not close friends/family of mine, so I’m going to be sure to only post interesting things about this pregnancy along the way. I’m not intending to make this my pregnancy blog. Blech. However, I DO intend to post more, and hope that my intentions are true and I can stick with it.

I have joined a site that has themes you can blog about, saw it on Caity’s site. So I’m going to use some of their topics here to help me get started.
